Description:                                                                                                                                                                  Beautiful one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of 'Casa do Largo' - a newly restored manor house in a prime riverside location in the historical center of Tavira. The location is perfect for a summer or winter let. During the summer months, the ferryboat to the beach at Ilha de Tavira leaves from the quayside in Tavira town, around 100m from the apartment. At other times of the year, the boat leaves from Quatro Aguas which is around 1km further along the river. There are several other blue flag beaches and golf courses within a few minutes drive. The apartment is perfectly located for both the beach and the town. The riverfront restaurants are close at hand and the Old Market and Roman Bridge are only a couple of minutes walk away. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets of this lovely old town with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a refreshment in the sun. This beautiful manor house dates from the early 19th century and has been tastefully renovated to high specifications, using natural materials and retaining historical features - such as the traditional Tavira roofs (called Quatro Aguas) and as well as thick walls which keep the property warm in winter and cool in summer. The accommodation is spacious, with an open-plan feel and consists of a comfortable living room with wood burner and  dining area, a fully equipped kitchen (electric hob & oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, no washing machine) with granite work surfaces, a double bedroom ( 2 single beds, can be made up as either twin beds or king-size bed) and ample wardrobe space, a good size stylish bathroom with shower. Satellite TV (International free to air channels), DVD player, Air Conditioning for additional heating and cooling. All windows are traditional in style with double glazing.. The private balcony is perfect for enjoying breakfast. There are external stairs leading to the pool area of the ground floor apartment.
