Description:              Lovely four bedroom villa with swimming pool located nearby the picturesque village of Santo Estevao with beautiful natural surroundings. The nearest beach is Barrill in Santa Luzia - opposite Pedras del Rei - centrally located in the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park just 1.2 mile (2 km) from Santa Luzia. In addition to some local restaurants, you are spoiled for choice in Tavira and Santa Luzia. Both places have a large choice of restaurants and bars for refreshments. A lunch or dinner in the nearby Casa do Abade in Santa Luzia is strongly recommended for its good service (they go the extra mile) and unpretentious fresh local food. The prices are very reasonable and their speciality "Porco Preto" is a typical dish from the Alentejo where the black pig of this region is fed acorns to give a distinctive flavour. Ask the owner "Tito"  for his recommendation when ordering wine as he has lots of very good local wines at affordable prices. Furthermore, Pedras del Rei has a good restaurant called Vale del Rei as well as a Piano bar for late entertainment. On the beach of Barrill, you'll find a self service restaurant, hamburger house, Pizzeria/Creperia, a bar, A  Boutique/handicraft shop, Nautical Club and Massage Service. If you don't like overcrowded beaches, this is the place for you. When arriving at Barrill Beach, even in high season you just walk for 500 meters either way, and you have the beach for your selves! One of the nicest laidback places to visit is Tavira, 5 km (3miles) South of Stº Estevao. It is very easy to lose track of time in Tavira, a lovely old town with a long history where time stood still. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with it's many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy a refreshment in the sun. The old palace is nearby and the beach of Ilha de Tavira is within walking distance and has many small restaurants. A visit to the recently renovated Pousada (Inn) is recommended. This is a very nice destination all year round. During the summer months there is a boat ferry from the center of town, opposite the Happy Homes office, going to Ilha de Tavira and Quatro Aguas. The villa has a nice open plan lay out, modern furniture with a meditareanian ambiance and is very well equipped and consists of a spacious - light and bright- living room with wood burner stove and dining area. Adjacent to the dining area is a large and fully equipped designer kitchen with breakfast island and natural stone worktop. Two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom. The first floor is reached by a natural stone staircase with beautiful cast iron bannister and comprises two double bedrooms, both with access to a south facing terrace with sea view and table and chairs, two bathrooms (large master bedroom with flat panel TV and one en-suite). There are two bedrooms with double bed, and two with twin beds. All bedrooms are of good size and have built-in wardrobes. Access from the living room, kitchen and one ground floor bedroom to the (partly) semi-covered terrace, lawn and swimming pool. The garden is partly landscaped, automatically irrigated and has many mature - beautiful- trees. In addition, a large BBQ is provided as well as sun loungers by the pool for the guests to be used. In front of the living room, under the semi covered terrace, you'll find a cosy seating area. Air conditioning in all rooms. An ideal holiday home close to the village of Santo Estevao with lovely restaurant and shops. Good access by tarmac road, central location.
